Doreen Doucette has been an LPN in the health care field for over 20 years. She resigned her LPN license to pursue studies in Holistic Health. She completed studies in Reflexology and became Certified by the Canadian College of Natural Healing and Health in 2009. Reflexology is a very gentle, non-invasive therapy based on the principle that there are reflexes in the feet that correspond to every organ, gland and part of the body. It is very powerful in addressing all the systems of the body and is scientifically proven to aid the body in ridding itself of pain and disease.
Doreen also study's Ayurveda and Panchakarma Therapy, an ancient natural healing system of East Indian medicine, and in 2011 travelled to Kerala, India where she completed an Ayurveda & Phanchakarma certification course through the "School of Ayurveda & Panchakarma". She continues to study under the direction of Ved Kovid Durgadas Lingham, and completed the "Ayurvedic Lifestyles Management" course under his direction in 2013.
Doreen has recently returned from India after completing a diploma course in Ayurvedic Herbology & Pharmacology (2015).
Ayurveda, the Indian “science of life”, is an ancient system of healing that sees health as our birthright. We are made of elements that create health when well-balanced and disease when imbalanced. Ayurveda’s goal is to help re-balance and restore health.
Along with being Certified in Reflexology, Ayurveda & Panchakarma, Doreen has received a Doctorate of Natural Medicine and is registered with EBNMP Canada, and has succesfully completed a Master Reflexology Course. Doreen is an appointed member of the Ayurvedic Society "Vishwa Ayurveda Samaj" as an Ayurvedic Kovid.
Doreen offers reflexology treatments, and various other treatments including Tradidional Ayurvedic classic massage experiences, head massage, face massage, treatments using medicated oils, as well as traditional steam therapy. Anjali's philosophy is to give our clients the most rewarding treatments based on traditional Ayurvedic techniques. By encouraging health from within, our holistic and natural treatments aid in re-balancing and rejuvenating the body and spirit.
All treatments are based on Ayurvedic principals. Anjali uses only natural products, and has made a sincere and dedicated effort to preserve and present the essence of traditional Ayurveda.
